Job Description
AECOM’s Technology Solutions Group is seeking a highly skilled Cisco network consultant with extensive experience in architecting Cisco routing and switching technologies. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and optimize complex network security solutions, ensuring robust protection and seamless connectivity for our clients. This position is open to a remote working situation.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements :
Preferred Qualifications :
Advanced certifications such as CCIE Security, CCNP Security, CISSP or equivalent are highly desirable
In-depth knowledge of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and Duo Security
Proven experience in designing and implementing network security solutions for enterprise-level environments
Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching technologies including BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF
Expertise in security technologies such as VPNs, IPSec, SSL/TLS, and advanced threat protection
Experience with other Cisco technologies such as the Network Convergence series and 4000 series for DWDM optical transport networks, security products such as Cisco ASA, and Cisco Umbrella
Knowledge of cloud security and integration with platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Familiarity with compliance standards and best practices such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR
Familiarity with Passive Optical Networks (GPON, XGS PON, Passive Optical LAN) is a plus
Cisco: 10 years (Preferred)
Network architecture: 8 years (Preferred)
Cybersecurity: 3 years (Preferred)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
