  • Responsibilities

    Technology Specialist should possess technical expertise accompanied by a positive attitude and great interpersonal skills. In collaboration with Home Office (HO) resources and the agency’s technology team, he/she will function as the firm’s on-site technical resource with regard to cyber protection, technical troubleshooting, device setup, and software training and implementation. This includes overseeing effective, secure, and compliant agent system and software usage, system access issues, and the setup, rollout, maintenance, and oversight of HO technology requirements, practices, and equipment. Responsibilities: • Perform agency security access duties by requesting access for agents and agency staff via field security - including changes, deletions, additions, and timely termination of field security access rights. • Assure accurate and timely on-boarding and off-boarding of all agent and agency PCs. • As the primary contact for technology support for all agents, staff, and registered brokers, troubleshoot desktop support and/or system problems. • Administer hardware and software updates accurately and efficiently, including performing required maintenance on new and existing PCs to ensure successful use of hardware, software, and peripherals. • Train agents on new technology and provide oversight of the agency rollout of all newly introduced technology. • Maintain complete inventories of all hardware, software, and other computer-related technology. Manage agency ticketing system to manage requests within specified service-level agreements. • Complete and submit timely orderly field security audits. • Ensure agency and agent technology are compliant with HO requirements. • Detailed inventories of all PC workstations and related peripherals for the core office(s). • Smooth and effective new agent onboarding – ensuring agents are able to access all MassMutual proprietary systems within agency standards. • Effective communication and education/training to all agents and agency staff on technology requirements, standards, and enhancements for improved business functionality. Maintain an efficient, professional, and accountable presence throughout the company with a focus on personal development. Qualifications: • Coursework/degree in Information Technology, or at least 1 year of experience in help desk support and maintenance in a business environment.Ability to configure and troubleshoot mobile devices, including iPads and other tablets, iPhones, and Android smartphones. • Ability to travel on an as-needed basis within our territory. • Ability to independently identify, organize, and prioritize client needs to execute daily work to meet or exceed client expectations. Able to deliver in a fast-paced environment. • Strong organization, interpersonal communication, and collaboration skills. • Detail-oriented with attention to accuracy and creation and management of defined timelines. A hybrid work environment with a flexible work schedule. • Proficient and adaptable with technology. Compensation: $40,000 - $55,000
