We are a private Michigan based practice with Pierre J. Tedders, DDS, board-certified Implant Specialist and Surgical Director at Jacksonville University at our helm. Dr. Tedders brings forth almost 25 years of experience in not only general dentistry, but surgical and implant dentistry and restoration, not to mention being a national board examiner, published author and national educator. He welcomes Dr. Natalie McDowell currently in her MBA Implantology residency at Jacksonville University, as the lead for our Family & Cosmetic Dentistry of Bartram Springs.

Our focus and culture have been on providing comprehensive dental care for the entire family, while balancing hard work with fun and new learning. Therefore, we are looking for the best and brightest talent --- eager to infuse their energy and knowledge as an entirely NEW TEAM in NE FL and that share in our passion for serving our patients and community. This particular Dental Hygienist opportunity is for a three (3) day clinical work schedule with possibility to quickly expand to four (4) days with focused effort on securing new patients, refining our existing implant maintenance program and establishing a solid recare system for Family & Cosmetic Dentistry of Bartram Springs.

RECRUITING & INTERVIEWING BEGINS JUNE 18TH - JUNE 25TH IDEAL SELECTION & TRAINING -- JULY 15TH - JULY 22ND TENTATIVE SOFT OPENING --- JULY 30, 2024

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain hygiene schedule.

Support new patient marketing efforts, community events and share ideas for patient retention.

Educate and consult patients discussing treatment needs and presenting treatment plans.

Accurately and efficiently chart existing and future treatment needs.

Follow office procedures for patient referrals.

Work as a team to comply with OSHA and HIPPA guidelines.

Sterilize and maintain hygiene instrumentation and equipment.

Obtain patient demographics, medical history, and vitals.

Obtain series of needs intra/extra-oral photos and/or radiographs.

Document clear and thorough clinical notes.

Manage unscheduled list, treatment pending, missed appointments, and next visit scheduling to meet standard of care.

QUALIFICATIONS

Gentle and empathetic chair-side manners.

Interpersonal skills.

Team player and communication.

Experience with digital radiography -- practice is currently migrating to cloud-based system

Prior experience with implant dentistry and an implant maintenance protocol is a plus.

Proficient with practice management software’s (Dentrix or Denticon is preferred).

CREDENTIALS AND LICENSING

Current Florida RDH license required.

Current and/or willing to be certified BLS.

Ability to work a minimum of three days per week and expand to four days as practice grows.

Anesthesia certification preferred, not required.
