We are looking for Naturalist (nature scientists/marine scientists) for our outdoor and natural science education program Ad Foris. The CORE Responsibilities of the naturalist: - Planning, leading, and implementing camp programs for children aged 5 to 12 years old. - Lead day camps at various with up to 20 campers per group. The teaching assistant will be onsite. - Providing professional knowledge and educating campers on natural or marine science - Provides high-quality educational and recreational opportunities and enjoyable experiences for camp participants - Organize and participate in the camp program, ranging from outdoor sports to camp games and rituals Job Requirements: -Passion for working with kids -Background in Environmental ecology, Wildlife conservation biology, Marine science or other related field preferred. -1+ years experience teaching natural science, marine science, outdoor education, primitive & survival wilderness skills, and multi-sports. -Experience leading youth and a passion for working with kids. -First Aid and CPR before the start of camp are preferred Work schedule: Before Summer Session:We may assign you some work about lesson plan or daily camp. Summer Session: 6/6-8/12, Monday to Friday, 9:00am- 3:30pm (5:00pm for extended care if needed). Work location: Base on Bay Area, different locations daily, will give you detail before camp opening. Training: You will be provided 3 days in-person camp activity and safety training. You will get further notice about training schedule before camp opening. You will be paid the minimum wage for tanning session.
