Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Drill Operator/Locator to join our team. We are hiring for our Columbus, OH fiber to the home projects. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious with previous drill operation/locating experience and the ability to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

Drilling and placing underground conduit and structures

Troubleshoot outages and determine the causes

Occasional concrete/asphalt restoration

Respond promptly to call-outs or notifications for service

Report on all work completed, including any concerns, complications that arise, and reasons for delays

Qualifications

Previous experience as a drill operator/locator

Relevant training and/or certification is preferred but not required

Familiarity with equipment such as Ditch Witch drills, vacuum excavators, and mini excavators

Understanding of all federal safety regulations

Ability to read and understand prints

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent time-management skills
