    Job Title: Teller/CSR Float

    Location: Minier, IL

    Department: Retail

    Reports to: Branch Manager

    Average hours per week: Hourly 35+

    Required Hours Availability : M-F 7:45-5, and every other Saturday 7:45-12

    Job Summary:

    The CSR role provides outstanding customer service to develop new customer relationships, maintain our current customer relationships and ensure that Bank of Pontiac meets the financial needs of our customers.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Develop a deep understanding of our products and services, and effectively communicate their features and benefits to customers.
    • Assist customers with routine account-related transactions, opening and maintaining all types of personal and business accounts.
    • Answer customer inquiries through various channels, including phone calls, and emails in a friendly and efficient manner.
    • Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally by using your critical thinking skills and empathetic approach, as well as adhering to bank policies and procedures.
    • Effectively document and track all customer interactions and issues, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Provide product information, pricing, and availability to customers as requested.
    • Collaborate with other departments such Technical Support to ensure prompt resolution of customer inquiries and issues.
    • Assist with teller transactions, ensuring accuracy and addressing any concerns customers may have.
    • Continuously follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction and to build strong relationships and loyalty.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements in customer service operations.
    • Stay up to date on industry trends and new product features to provide customers with the most accurate and relevant information.
    • Adhere to bank policies and procedures.

    Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • 1 + years of banking experience is preferred but not required, we will train the otherwise qualified candidate.

    • Occasionally: Standing, climbing and/or crawling, Lifting objects up to 30 pounds
