Job Description
We are looking for a capable and engaging ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT/RECEPTIONIST to undertake all receptionist and clerical duties at the desk of our main entrance. You will be the face and voice of Temple Isaiah for all who come onto our campus and will be responsible for the first impression we make. Temple Isaiah offers a professional, supportive, and collaborative workplace while at the same time the work can be fast-paced, demanding, and requires creating a warm and welcoming experience for all who call or visit.
The Admin is a multitasking position and is an important resource for keeping things running smoothly. You should be comfortable undertaking a variety of activities in the office, including filing, answering the phone, editing and creating Excel files, mail merges, and Word documents, updating a database and web-based programs, and managing vendors. Reliability and a strong work ethic combined with great communication skills are a must, as well as familiarity with all necessary office equipment, software, and procedures, or a willingness to learn. You should be able to patiently provide accurate information. A customer-oriented approach is essential. The goal is to make members and guests feel comfortable and valued while on our campus.
FRONT OFFICE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
FRONT OFFICE REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma; additional qualifications will be a plus
Successful work experience in a front office setting or in another clerical position
Strong working knowledge of office procedures and basic accounting principles
Ability to effectively use and maintain office equipment
Excellent typing skills
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office
Outstanding communication skills
Great organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
