    Job Description

    This is a temporary, full-time position from approximately mid January to mid April.

    The Marriage Coordinator will be the driving administrative force behind the marriage ministry at Mariners Church. The ideal candidate will have the ability to create and manage systems that support groups, courses, and events within the department while demonstrating excellent relational and interpersonal skills with the ministry team, staff, volunteers, and congregants. As the Marriage Coordinator the scope of your role will include:

    • Database Management: Work to regularly maintain and report on Married Life Groups (leaders and group rosters) and Marriage team volunteers within the database.
    • Administrative Tasks: Ability to complete a wide range of tasks including email correspondence, spreadsheets, phone inquiries, digital file management, and more.
    • Logistics Management: Manage on-campus room reservations and details for all Marriage Ministry groups, courses, and events.
    • Event Management: Play a key role in ensuring that all event logistics and operations are well organized and executed.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience working or volunteering in a ministry preferred.
    • Able to work in multiple systems - database, event management, Google Drive.
    • Must have high attention to detail.
    • Able to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
    • Possess good organizational skills and efficient work characteristics
    • Able to quickly prioritize and meet deadlines on time.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Enjoy working in a ministry team environment
