Modeled after Brilliant Corners in California, Anthos|Home streamlines the apartment search, approval, and move-in processes while addressing gaps in the NYC voucher housing system. We aim to be a game-changer for New Yorkers who are unhoused or at risk of homelessness.

    The Role

    The Tenant Coordination Matching Associate will report to the Senior Tenant Coordination Specialist and support the Tenant Coordination Matching Team under the direction of the Tenant Coordination Supervisor and Vice President of Tenant Coordination. This role plays a key administrative function in managing a caseload of participants matched to apartments. Responsibilities include compiling and coordinating tenant packages, ensuring timely submission of documents, and facilitating smooth transitions to Aftercare Specialists.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Caseload Management: Support the Senior Tenant Coordination Specialist in overseeing a light-touch caseload of 60-70 participants who have been matched to apartments.
    • Package Coordination: Assist with package compilation and submission of tenant packages in collaboration with the Operations Team and Housing Acquisition Repairs and Leasing Team, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
    • Public Assistance Oversight: Assist with the resolution of Public Assistance issues by working directly with Participants, Case Planners, DHS and HRA contacts, and the Access HRA Provider Portal.
    • Aftercare Assignment: Work with the Sr. Tenant Coordination Specialist and Vice President of Aftercare to efficiently transition cases to Aftercare Specialists.
    • Communication: Maintain clear and timely updates with case planners, service providers, and participants throughout the Voucher Package process.
    • Data Entry & Confidentiality: Accurately enter documentation and case details into the Anthos|Home Salesforce database, ensuring confidentiality.
    • Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling, meeting coordination, and liaising with external agencies, property providers, and internal teams.
    • Department Operations: Collaborate with the Vice President of Tenant Coordination, Tenant Coordination Supervisor, and other managers to ensure seamless daily operations.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications and Skills

    The ideal candidate is a well-organized individual who enjoys problem-solving, is great with people, and collaborates effectively.

    Required:

    • Associate's degree and/or 2+ years experience in an administrative role.
    • Experience working in housing or human services is preferred.
    • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
    • Ability to use public transportation (or meet travel requirements with reasonable accommodation).
    • Ability to ascend/descend stairs at locations without elevator access (or meet the same requirement with reasonable accommodation).
    • Familiarity with NYC housing market and voucher system is a plus.

    Compensation and Benefits

    • Competitive Salary: $55,000 - $57,000 (dependent on experience).
    • Hybrid Work Model: 3-5 days in-office or in the field.
