Territory Sales Manager - Flexible Packaging - Base Salary to 80k/year - Seattle, WA
Our client is a leading polyethylene film and protective flexible packaging manufacturer mainly servicing the food distribution, food processing, and pipe & fittings industries.
The team is looking to add an additional Territory Sales Manager to help expand and grow the Pacific North West territory. The Territory Sales Manager will manage a book of business, identify new sales opportunities, and ensure overall customer satisfaction. The team is ideally looking for the Territory Sales Manager to be based in the greater Seattle, WA area; Portland, OR; or Northern CA with ability to travel to HQ (in Seattle) as needed for sales meetings
Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the pipe & fittings (construction) industry through prospecting and industry research
Drive sales growth by developing and expanding client accounts
Develop, create, and manage strategic sales plans to achieve targeted metrics
Work cross functionally with internal sales team to negotiate contracts, develop custom proposals, etc
Travel as needed to client sites for plant tours & meetings
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing or related sales degree
5+ years previous outside sales experience in the packaging and/or blown film industry
Plus for selling into seafood, fresh produce, jan/san, construction, or food processing industries
Familiarity with utilization of CRM, preferably SalesForce
Flexibility to travel upwards of 50% within the Pacific North West region
Compensation:
Our client is offering a base salary up to 80k/year plus a healthy commission structure that allows you to double your base within the first year.
