    Territory Sales Representative - Commercial Pumps and Controllers - Base Salary to 80k/year - Washington, DC

    • Founded over 40 years ago, our client in the Commercial Pumps, Water Filtration and Preventative Maintenance space provides solutions for existing buildings. They are experiencing tremendous growth and looking to double their revenue within the next 5 years!
    • They are currently looking to hire a Territory Sales Representative to join their team. The Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for new business development as well as handle some existing clients (they have a lot of incoming leads for this role). The Territory Sales Representative will call on Property Managers, and Building Engineers.

    Responsibilities:

    • Promote and sell Commercial Pumps, Water Filtration and Preventative Maintenance solutions to Property Managers and Building Engineers.
    • Outside sales calling on key decision makers 3-4 days per week (work from your home office the other time to handle any administrative work necessary)
    • The role entails going after commercial accounts such as colleges, Universities, airports, hospitals as well as other industrial and certain contractors
    • Work with the service team internally to ensure the customers are receiving proper care, and coordinate with the estimating team and engineering teams for pricing and selections
    • Engage, communicate and present proposals to potential clients, and close the sale

    Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of outside sales experience in preventative maintenance or engineering products (prefer experience within mechanical, plumbing or electrical)
    • Reside in Northern VA/Washington DC
    • Possess a strong mechanical aptitude
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and experience with a CRM system

    Compensation:

    • Base salary in the 70k - 80k/year range plus commission
