Our client is a manufacturer of Electronic Price Sign and Transportation Systems located in Colorado, with a focus on building the nation's highest quality signage and software products. They are currently looking for a Territory Sales Representative to join their team.
The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for leading the sales process from lead generation through the entire sales life cycle, to small-medium companies in the Retail Petroleum Market. This would include finding and engaging in opportunities, creating a solid sales strategy, delivering advanced value proposition, justifying investment, and closing the deal.
Responsibilities:
Present and communicate products and services effectively to prospects and existing customers.
Conduct needs assessments and clearly communicate product/service value aligned with customer requirements.
Understand and explain technical specifications and features of signage products and solutions.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with daily contacts, leadership, and C-level stakeholders.
Retain existing customers and identify opportunities for upsell or future business.
Manage project scope, customer expectations, and post-implementation support.
Lead project kick-offs and maintain visibility throughout the customer lifecycle.
Monitor, document, and address project-related issues and risks during contract execution.
Prepare pricing proposals and contracts using standardized templates and pricing models.
Provide or coordinate training for both new and existing customer accounts.
Process sales orders accurately and support invoicing efforts to ensure timely payment.
Stay current with industry trends, product innovations, and competitive landscape.
Identify and segment sales prospects, research contacts, and implement outreach strategies.
Conduct cold calls and execute marketing efforts toward favorable leads.
Maintain detailed records and pipeline in CRM systems.
Participate in industry events, trade shows, and customer-facing engagements.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within electronics manufacturing
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to manage long sales cycles and complex customer accounts.
Bachelor's Degree is a plus
Proficient with NetSuite or other CRM tool
Willingness to travel 50%–70% as required.
Compensation:
Base salary in the 65k - 75k/year range, plus uncapped commission
