Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced seeking an experienced Property Manager to join their team at (1) of their properties in Minneapolis, MN (55406). The ideal candidate will have 2 years’ experience in affordable housing/compliance (full-cycle leasing new leases/recertifications in income restricted affordable housing). This position is a contract role that will be expected to last 60-120 days with the potential to go long-term and permanent with the right candidate.

This role will be working with a property with 320 income restricted units, and 20 stories.

Salary: $26-$28/hour DOQ. This position is a contract role that will be expected to last 60-120 days with the potential to go long-term and permanent with the right candidate.

Schedule: This role will be working Monday – Friday 830am – 5pm.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Compliance

• Conducts professional interviews with residents, completes all necessary documentation for timely resident certification in accordance with regulations & policies and procedures.
• Accurately enters the required applicant and resident information into Yardi Voyager

Leadership

• Maintains effective, professional relationships with the residents.
• Maintains excellent relations with Property Managers and all site staff.
• Provides guidance and resolution to issues as necessary.

Property Management

• Meets all corporate designated deadlines.
• Supports PMCS team during position vacancies, PTO, vacations, training, and/or peak activity.
• Implement procedures as outlined in the Program Compliance Manual.
• Supports the team in site compliance training.
• Attends Property Management meetings as requested.
• Attends PMCS team meetings as requested.

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 2 years’ experience in affordable housing/compliance (full-cycle leasing new leases/recertifications in income restricted affordable housing). Knowledge of government subsidy programs.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and Excel.
• Yardi experience is required.
• Be able to pass a Kari Koskinen background check before employment.
