Job Summary

Prepares used networking equipment used in telecommunications for resale.

General Accountabilities

Uses testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error retests, or usability.

Identifies, analyzes, and documents problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.

Documents and reports physical defects of equipment.

Repairs minor physical defects of equipment.

Monitors bug resolution efforts and tracks successes.

Plans test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope.

Reviews software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks.

Investigates customer problems referred by sales associates.

Installs, maintains, or uses software testing programs.

Provides feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.

Monitors program performance to ensure efficient operations.

Conducts software compatibility tests.

Job Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma

Experience: Entry Level, Some experience with networking equipment a plus
