  • Responsibilities

    Essencial Duties and Responsabilities

    • Assemble and set up equipment to functionally test and debug printed circuit assemblies.
    • Perform functional checks and assist in installing electronic assemblies and circuits, such as communications circuits for electronic systems, fixtures, and accessories.
    • Record production test data and consistently maintain acceptable levels of production according to established standards.
    • Assist with operational checkout, functional tests, troubleshooting, and repairs to major assembly or circuit board level of electronic systems, electro-mechanical equipment, computer-controlled systems using bills of materials, schematics, component specifications, or other means.
    • Monitor control systems and assist in supporting electro-mechanical assembly. Operate meters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, RF power meters, and other test equipment as needed.
    • Operate support equipment necessary for performance and functional testing.
    • Perform mechanical operations necessary for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, dismantling, and disassembly directly related to the above systems.
    • Refer to process documentation (test instructions, drawings, schematics, travelers, BOMs, and specifications) to perform tasks.
    • Show commitment to quality and total customer satisfaction by dedicating skills to achieve zero defect status.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Experience in basic test and debug.
    • Basic background in electronic test and setup, schematics, debug, assembly drawings, bills of materials, and solder repair is desired.
    • Must be able to perform the essential functions as required. Good eye and hand coordination with color perception and the ability to sit or stand, reach, and pull as needed.
    • Ability to test and debug printed circuit assemblies in a timely manner and with little to no supervision in compliance with test standards.
    • Under direct supervision, performs a variety of tasks requiring the ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions and a thorough knowledge of techniques, materials, tools, and equipment.
