    Job Title: Allergy Physician Assistant

    Location: Allergy Practice: SOUTHLAKE, TX And Mckinney Texas

    Job Type: 2 -4days a week 8 am -6pm, Some Saturdays (8 am -12 )

    Part Time Position

    Are you an experienced Physician Assistant with a passion for allergy care and looking to grow with a dynamic and patient-focused practice? Our medical clinic is dedicated to providing superior allergy care services with a strong emphasis on disease prevention and management. We are seeking a hardworking and energetic Physician Assistant to join our team and contribute to our mission.

    Experience Required: ER, Family practice, Pediatrics and/or Allergy PA Experience Preferred

    Must have 2 years of PA experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide comprehensive care for assigned patients under the direction of a physician.
    • Follow established standards, procedures, and practices, and give patient care directions to nursing and other staff.
    • Evaluate outcomes of direct patient care and consult with other specialists as required.
    • Adjust processes as needed to ensure optimal patient care.
    • Arrange for patients' ordered diagnostic and therapeutic services.
    • Monitor and ensure accuracy of recording on patient medical records.
    • Provide preventive health care services to long-term patients and arrange consultations and referrals.
    • Perform physical exams, prescribe and recommend treatments and medications.
    • React calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
    • Maintain quality control standards.
    • Develop and maintain a caseload of patients based on practice goals and objectives.
    • Work independently to assess, diagnose, treat, and educate patients, consulting with the physician as needed.
    • Read allergy testing and diagnose allergies in patients.
    • Set up treatment plans for allergy and asthma patients.
    • Educate patients and their families.
    • Facilitate proper billing.
    • Participate in daily operations of the practice.
    • Telehealth visits
    • Able to manage anaphylaxis with appropriate training
    • After Training be able to work independently

    Essential Functions:

    • Conduct comprehensive health history and physical assessments.
    • Order and prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions
    • Collaborate and coordinate care with other team members.
    • Collect and analyze data as necessary.
    • Perform advanced procedures associated with credentialing.
    • Utilize evidence-based practice for patient care plans.
    • Serve as an educational resource for patients, families, nursing staff, and provider teams.
    • Participate in professional development and mentor new department members.
    • Demonstrate commitment to patient safety and report concerns appropriately.

    Qualifications:

    • Master of Science Degree, Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
    • Current TX licensure.
    • Certification as a Physician Assistant.
    • Excellent communication and written skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate leadership skills.
    • Strong EMR background.
