    PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE 

    FUEL is the unique support that The Ardent Company gives to the businesses in our portfolio.The FUEL team is central to creating the IP that makes Ardent  a truly unique business in our industry.

    As a core part of the FUEL team, the Head of Brand will have the unique opportunity to work with some of the world’s most exciting founders and their marketing teams. We are looking for someone who has  built up a deep understanding of how to create successful consumer drinks brands from scratch, having worked both agency and client side during their brand focused journey. We are needing someone who is a brand geek and proud of it, who loves to help people realize the brilliant story that their brand could be telling.  

    RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    • Be the ultimate creative guardian for our brands throughout their time at Ardent, ensuring we hold the tension with our founders, keeping them true to the their own propositions

    • Partner with founders to have confidence in their brand development process, from where the founders are today  to where we need them to be during their time with Ardent. This will include trade and consumer proposition work, on-going marketing plans, to evaluation and recommendations

    • Continual evaluation of  the resource  of our founder marketing teams, including  in house and external agencies, in order to make recommendations and coach founders towards our desired outcome

    • Support the recruitment process of marketers into our founder led businesses (FLBs)

    • Support our FLBs in selecting and managing agencies to redevelop their brands 

    • Work with our founders to realize pure and simple brand propositions, that can become the core messaging at the heart of all of their marketing communication 

    • Update Ardent with marketing trends within and outside of our industry

    • Create a network of preferred agencies and individuals who can offer their expertise to Ardent and FLB’s

    • Control all aspects of Ardent’s brand & communication strategies

     

     

    PREFERRED  EXPERIENCE 

    • 7+ years of experience in a creative/ strategic/senior account management level role at a creative agency with deep spirits and/or drinks experience 

    • 3+ years of experience client side 

    • Experience with 10+ drinks brand refresh/re brands/brand creation projects

    • Experience working with Founders of brands as clients 

    • Knowledge and experience across all aspects of the spirits marketing mix including Trade and Consumer engagement 

    • Experience managing multiple stakeholders through times of change
