THE BEACH CLUB LINEN SUPERVISOR
Job Description: The Linen Supervisor plans, organizes and supervises all linen activities while enforcing policies and procedures. This is a working hands-on supervisory position. The Linen Supervisor is trained in a variety of areas so that he/she may assist all other Housekeeping team members including housekeepers, inspectors, floor care specialists, etc
Major Job Tasks:
Supervise Linen Room staff
Ensure linen is rolled and ready for the Housekeepers
Distribute supplies to Housekeepers
Be prepared to accept and approve deliveries
Maintain inventory pars and take monthly inventories
Assist in pick up of dirty linen as needed
Separate dirty linen and prepare for pick up
Keep Linen Room organized, neat and clean
Assist other housekeepers and inspectors as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
Must possess excellent teamwork and customer service skills
Must possess excellent oral/written skills
Must possess a valid driver license and an acceptable driving record
Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment
Must be energetic and self-motivated
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand/walk during entire shift
Ability to reach, stoop, and kneel
Must have sufficient strength and the ability to independently and repeatedly lift, move and carry objects up to 50 pounds
Must be able to carry objects weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance
Must be able to work in/out of hot, inclement weather conditions as needed
