    Job Description

    The Bedder Way Co is hiring for a CAD/ Product Manager to join our growing team! We are a local Indianapolis company that manufactures murphy beds, cabinetry, and custom closets. We are looking for individuals who love to work in a team-oriented environment and who want to be a part of a growing company providing high-quality products that will remain in our client’s homes for years to come!

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

    · Is a self-motivated and detail-oriented person who likes using problem-solving skills

    · Has the ability to understand basic manufacturing flow

    · Likes to work in a group setting

    · Has previous understanding of basic hand power tools

    · Must be self-confident and pay close attention to detail

    GENERAL OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Support the needs of the production team and offer feedback on how to solve design and manufacturing challenges

    · Ability to read, write and interpret design and technical drawings

    · Ability to communicate design ideas through sketches, drawings, and/or CAD software

    · Assist in the development of new product manufacturing flows

    · Develop new and exciting products and services for our customers

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPRERIENCE

    · Valid drivers license

    · Associate’s or bachelor’s degree required

    · CAD or CAM software experience required

    · Previous project management skills a plus

    · Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Email, Internet, etc.) Knowledge of Office 365 products a plus

    · Basic understanding of power tools and other shop equipment.

    · This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position.

    WHAT WE OFFER:

    · Base salary of $45K/year and also quarterly bonuses
