Regional Sales Manager, Midwest
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Our Client, a leading manufacturer of Special Chemicals and lubricating solutions is seeking to hire a Regional Sales Manager for the Midwest region, who will be responsible for marketing value through technical project selling of specialty chemical additives in Industrial and Food processing.
Provide guidance to customers by providing product/services information to fulfill the needs of our customers and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Ability to Close Deals & Follow-up with Urgency and Responsiveness
• Excellence in Negotiating & Selling Value
• Working with and Motivating Distribution Network
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree – Technical Degree, Chemistry highly preferred
• Minimum 7 years Sales experience
• Team Based Selling Experience – Sales/Technical/Product Management
• Chemical Industry experience required; Performance Chemical experience is a Bonus
• Must live in the Midwest region, preferably Illinois/Indiana and surrounding states
• Travel 60% in the field (3 out of 5 days in home office, once per month flying, up to two weeks a month overnight travel) • Prefer basic understanding of industrial lubricant & food markets regulations/compliances
