We are hiring immediately for a District Sales Manager with commission sales experience to oversee our Southern District, including locations in Hixson, TN, Madison, AL, Birmingham, AL, Montgomery, AL, and Mobile, AL, with plans to open Tuscaloosa, AL, and Pensacola, FL in the near future.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Support your District team in their daily efforts to ensure that we have the proper direction for managing day-to-day operations
Coach and develop team members in your stores to continue to improve while preparing them to take on new roles and responsibilities
Develop a deep bench of talent by focusing on performance management and succession planning
Track daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual metrics to measure success and develop strategies to improve the experience that we deliver to our customers
Develop and oversee upward reporting to ensure HQ leadership is connected to the field
Acquire top talent through direct involvement in the interview, hiring, and on-boarding process
Ensure your locations are operating at appropriate staffing levels and anticipate needs
Assist in the launch of new store locations within your territory and ongoing maintenance coordination for open stores- Responsible for resolving elevated customer service issues- Participate in monthly P&L review
REQUIREMENTS- 5-8+ years of experience in retail/sales- 5+ years of Leadership and Management experience required of multi-location teams- Demonstrated ability to manage large onboarding programs to train and onboard high performing employees- Adept at analytical work and the ability to motivate others in a deadline-driven environment- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems under pressure- Analytical and critical thinking ability- Strong writing and presentation skills- Understanding of financial statements and ability to manage budgets- Strong communication and organization skills- Able to balance attention to detail with swift execution- Exceptional customer service skills required- Must be willing to travel at least 75% of the time- Must live a city within the territory (Birmingham, Montgomery, Madison, Hixson, Mobile)
