The Good Feet Store is searching for an energetic, results-oriented Vice President of Retail Marketing to drive store traffic and sales across our corporate markets and stores. The Vice President of Retail Marketing will be responsible for strategy, implementation, and measurement of all retail marketing, paid media, and local activations across the corporate retail stores. We are hiring immediately for this role to oversee our current 20+ locations, spanning southern California, Arizona, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Indiana. We have plans to open another 10-15 store locations over the next 18 months. Our corporate-operated locations are the leaders and innovators of our franchise system of more than 200 stores.RESPONSIBILITIES
Development, implementation, and measurement of the retail marketing strategy for the corporate operated markets and stores
Oversight and co-development of all planning, organization, and implementation of marketing communications, activations, and other tactics for all corporate retail markets and stores
Oversight and stewardship of the corporate retail advertising budgets, partnering with key stakeholders and agencies to define the right budget, media mix, and creative mix across multiple channels to drive store traffic and sales
Leverage CRM data and performance analytics to accelerate improvements in overall marketing efficiency and customer acquisition
Guidance of all data analysis and reporting regarding the efficiency and effectiveness of all Marketing investments and activities for the corporate retail markets and stores
Identification, communication, and implementation of retail marketing best practices, whether sourced from corporate retail or franchisee marketing and markets
Recruitment, retention, and development of a best-in-class retail marketing team
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 12+ years of consumer marketing experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role, or commensurate experience
Minimum 5+ years of retail marketing experience, or commensurate experience; experience with a retailer that relies heavily on traditional paid media a plus
Broad Marketing experience and expertise, from paid media to content marketing to digital marketing to partnerships (e.g. influencers, affiliates)
Extensive expertise and experience in planning, placing, and evaluating traditional media (e.g. TV, radio); experience with digital paid media a plus
Extensive creative development experience (e.g. TV, radio, digital), ideally on the agency side
Extensive content development experience, including but not limited to digital communications (e.g. email and social media)
Experience leveraging CRM data for more personalized marketing strategies and communications; experience specifically with Salesforce and Marketing Cloud a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Can be based in San Diego County, Orange County, or Los Angeles County
