    The Instructional Design Specialist is responsible for developing and facilitating training material for The Good Feet Store employees both virtually and in-person. The Instructional Design Specialist will be capable of utilizing tools and adult learning methodologies to create instructional content, and facilitate trainings in a clear and understandable manner to keep participants engaged.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    · Partner with the Learning and Development team to create training materials and deliver content

    · Recommends, designs, develops, and implements instructor-led and eLearning experiences

    · Follows visual design principles to create and build attractive and engaging learning content that will enhance the training experience

    · Organizes content in a clear, concise, and compelling way so that complex concepts are easy to follow and understand

    · Serves as an expert resource on Instructional Design. Equips others who design and deliver training

    · Remains current on best practices, technology, and tools in Instructional Design and adult learning. Proactively analyzes and identifies opportunities to make compelling recommendations for use in the Learning and Development department

    · Delivers training and presents content clearly, confidently and professionally while working continuously to enhance instructional delivery and participant engagement

    · Presents trainings in person and offers learning and development support to stores as needed

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONs

    · 2 to 4 years of work experience in Instructional Design, Educational Design, Training/Development, Corporate Communications, and/or E-Learning Development

    · A demonstrated aptitude for instructional design. Experience with Microsoft Suite, LMS Learning, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud and Articulate 360

    · Project management skills with experience in planning, leading, and executing projects

    · Four- year degree in instructional design, education, communication or related field preferred

    · A knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques preferred

    · Ability to travel up to 20%
