We are seeking a part-time Closing Manager that can effectively manage our team of highly qualified and experienced teachers. The successful candidate will be responsible for closing the Center each evening, greeting parents during pick-up, answering phones, and supervising ratios, classroom management, and staffing during the last few hours that we are open. This position requires superior management skills, as well as knowledge of child development.Role Responsibilities:
Maintains professionalism with the families that we serve and our staff members at all times.
Provides feedback and communicates well with the Center Director and Business Manager
Orders paper supplies and teacher supplies on an as needed basis
Listens objectively to employee concerns and plans a recommended course of action
Friendly, warm and caring personality when answering the phone and greeting families during pick up
Daily management of classroom ratios
Ability to place items in children's files that are already labeled in alphabetical order
Has a bright and loving personality, as you will be the greeter at the front desk in the evenings
What are the requirements for this job?
Must have a Associate's in Early Childhood Education or related field
Minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a childcare facility or equivalent
Advanced knowledge in early childhood education
Flexible in challenging situations
Strong organizational skills
Must be able to build strong relationships.
Commitment to professional development
Effective decision maker
Proficient in the use of technology, including industry applications, MS Office 365; Word, Excel, Power Point
Must meet state requirements
