We are seeking Remote Student Sales Associates to join our Harvest Sales Team this summer! You will resolve customer questions and provide solutions to help to spread our reach to the community. You MUST live in Hampton Roads,VA, Richmond, VA or Charlottesville, VA Responsibilities: * Present and sell The Neighborhood Harvest products to new and existing customers * Prospect and contact potential customers * Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline * Resolve customer inquiries and complaints * Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments * Create sales material to present to customers Qualifications: * Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields * Ability to build rapport with clients * Strong negotiation skills * Deadline and detail-oriented Company Description We started as a small hydroponic farm in Suffolk VA, delivering our freshly harvested, clean lettuces, greens and herbs to our customers. Over the years, we have added a vast number of items to our menu, thanks to partnerships with other small farms, artisans and specialty suppliers. These items include produce, meats, dairy, eggs, bread, craft beverages and pantry staples. Most recently, we developed our own Harvest Kitchen, where our chefs create deli items and prepared meals in small batches, bringing a new level of convenience to our customers' doorstep. As locals ourselves, we hire locally and support community events, providing food and information to our neighbors. We attend Farmers Markets to get to know you. But we also see food deserts growing in our own backyard, and we want to make a difference. So in 2020, we launched our Giving Back program, supporting local families in need with fresh produce deliveries all year long
