Hiring Immediately - $17-$21/hr + bonuses, Full-time & Part-time
Help us build support for working families! Every month the high cost of healthcare and prescription drugs hits families hard, especially during the past year as we have all lived through the pandemic. We need legislators to put people over profit. Our campaign will be urging voters to vote for House Delegates in this upcoming election who are committed to holding insurance companies and drug manufacturers accountable.
Get paid well! Canvass positions starting at $17/hour. We offer overtime pay, driver bonuses, shift bonuses, paid training, sick pay, and bonuses for friend referrals. All team members have the opportunity to earn an extra $100 per week for working 6 shifts in that week.
Stay Safe! We have strict health and safety protocols that include a contactless approach to campaign work. We provide all of the training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) you will need.
LOCATIONS: Loudoun County, VA
We are hiring immediately, all positions are through the end of the campaign on November 2nd. Shifts run from 10:30am - 6:30pm Monday-Saturday with the possibility to work part-time or full-time
Canvasser Responsibilities ($17/hr):
Engage with the public in a friendly and professional manner
Deliver a compelling presentation and compel voters to complete a questionnaire - Participate in staff trainings to improve your outreach skills
Strictly follow the campaign's safety protocols, including the use of PPE and compliance with daily health and safety guidelines
The ideal candidate is:
-Charismatic, energetic, and passionate about progressive politics and fostering democracy -Experienced with providing customer service; you should enjoy working with other people and be willing to speak with everyone
-Goal-oriented, determined, motivated and able to see the bigger picture Prior canvassing experience is a plus but not required.
Pay: $17/hr for canvassers. We offer driver bonuses, paid training, sick pay, and bonuses for friend referrals.
