LEAD- WEALTH MANAGEMENT ADVISOR
Our client, one of the top tier wealth management practice in the country, based in Westport, is looking to hire a Lead Wealth Management Advisor (LWMA).
Through a unique platform, the LWMA will work closely with the owner of the practice, a first class support team to serve a segment of the clientele in addition to identifying new planning and business opportunities.
The right candidate should have wealth management and comprehensive financial planning experience and has demonstrated success in client facing roles.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
· Foster relationship with existing clients to ensure the proper level of service is provided to continue the work and planning that was set forward by senior advisor.
· Conduct reviews with clients to ensure all aspects of the financial plan are still relevant to the client's goals. Identify planning and investment opportunities as the client's needs evolve (or as the economy/market changes).
· Learn senior advisor's planning and investment philosophy.
· Set appointments with existing clients in the practice.
· Build relationships with the next generation of the clientele (children of retirement stage)
· Set appointments to attract new clients to the practice. Think creatively about networking and marketing to attract quality prospects to the practice.
· Conduct fact finders, plan presentations and annual review meetings
· Work with other team members when it comes to investment operations, insurance operations, plan construction, client experience, and file logistics.
· Create an unmatched client experience
· Think creatively have thought partnership on building the practice
· Ensure all client information is kept confidential while also tracking business in CRM systems, with case notes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 3+ years of client facing financial advising experience
· Bachelor's Degree
· Series 7 and 66 (series 6 and 63 may be accepted with understanding of 7 and 65 being passed)
· Life/Health Insurance licensed
· CFP or willingness to study for CFP designation
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Growth focus professionals that have a passion for comprehensive planning
COMPENSATION:
· Base Salary based on experience
