Financial Advisor (Training and CFP Track)
Job Description
Our firm is working with a client in Winston-Salem, a leading wealth management, financial planning and insurance advisory firm providing solutions for business, individuals and families. They are looking to expand their reach in 2021 by hiring 2-3 professionals this quarter that want the benefits of both building a career for themselves (not a traditional 9 to 5) but also wanting the resources, mentorship and connection to an impact driven team.
If you are looking for a traditional employee minded role, this is likely NOT it! We are seeking previously successful professionals that are looking for more impact in the work that they do, greater chance at upside income and access to passive revenue streams and eventually (after the hard work of start up) more flexibility in their schedule. If you have experience in client facing roles, finance, or business development, that is a plus but not a requirement.
The average revenue for advisors in their first four years is $82,000+ with top quartile being over $150,000. There is not a base salary.
The firm will sponsor for appropriate financial licenses along with provide the necessary initial and ongoing training for career-long professional development.
· In running your own practice, you will help your clients with comprehensive financial planning. This includes: retirement planning, education funding, investment management, insurance, estate planning and other savings, tax and debt management strategies, customized for your clients' unique situation.
· In running your own practice, you are a business owner, however have the infrastructure built by a Fortune 500 firm.
· The firm will sponsor for appropriate licenses, has an award winning training program and will pay for your CFP tuition.
Responsibilities:
· Work with clients to help them visualize, timeline and plan out financial goals in discovery conversations.
· Assess clients' assets, liabilities and overall financial conditions in effort to build a plan
· Depending on the client's life stage: savings strategies, investment management, insurance planning, asset distribution & estate planning
· Prepare and educate clients on customized planning presentations
· Conduct semi-annual reviews to ensure client's plans are staying on track
· Consistently network and relationship build to build practice and help more people in the community become financially secure.
