    GENERAL SUMMARY:

    The Finance Manager is responsible for oversight of all accounting and reporting activities within the business. He/She will be responsible for handling financial reporting tasks and ensuring compliance with financial regulations, working on tasks such as tax preparation, payroll, invoicing, accounts payable, and bookkeeping. The Restaurant Finance Manager will also help with budget planning and financial strategizing with executive team. This individual will be responsible for undertaking cost comparison activities, performing financial forecasting, and conducting other assessments to improve the financial performance of Refined Hospitality Restaurants. This role must exemplify the Refined Hospitality culture & core values and maintain all responsibilities as set forth below.

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Fiscal Management:

    Oversee accounting and banking records, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with accounting standards perform general accounting duties

    Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, posting, and recording accounting data

    Verify discrepancies and resolves account issues

    Maintain and improve integrations between all IT/Financial systems (i.e. Revel, Restaurant 365)

    Participate in month and year-end closing activities

    Maintain and improve internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, and budgets and actual expenditures

    Prepare and process supplier invoices

    Performs vendor maintenance

    Consistently analyze financial data and present weekly and monthly financial reports to Managing Partners including Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow Statements, Chart of Accounts, Revenue Reports, Prime Cost Reports

    Work on improving efficiencies throughout the corporation by actively and positively participating in meetings and closely working with Operation Support Services Manager and Regional General Manager

    Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by filing financial reports/tax returns, Sales Tax returns, and licensing payments

    Oversight of Accounts payable and receivable with accounting team

    Manage and safeguard cash management process for the organization

    Tracking and reporting key performance indicators including COGS, Prime Cost, EBITDA, Revenue per head, Net Profit Margin

    Bi-weekly payroll processing and tax filings with TPC

    Maintain high level of integrity and professionalism with payroll knowledge

    Help with various accounting reconciliations and entries and perform accounts receivable functions one day a week

    Reconcile the accounts receivable accounts to ensure proper segregation of duties

    Assist Managing Partners with annual budgets and weekly/monthly forecasts for restaurant outlets

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

    ● One to two year minimum experience as a Finance Manager or Controller

    ● Knowledge of Restaurant 365 or Quickbooks preferred

    ● Be system & process driven

    ● Be professional in manner

    ● Must be detailed oriented
