Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Enter Engineered to Order orders and quotes timely and accurately
• Support the Senior Application Engineers as needed – order entry, vendor communications, processing quotes, customer and channel partner
• Resolve CTO selection problems – ensure application information is receive per standard work, resolve any issues with customer
• Review quotes and enquiries to ensure all information is provided.
• Redirect quotes and orders to customer service as applicable – Vortex, CTO, Spares etc. per standard work
• Collaborate cross-functionally to obtain information relative to orders and quotes.
• Observe all safety standards and ensure department compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates Degree, Mechanical Engineering or related relevant work experience
•  2 – 5 years working in an engineering environment preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain a proficient level of product/service/customer base knowledge.
• Ease in establishing and maintaining productive relationships both internally and externally
•  Strong written and oral communication skills – an active listener with proven collaboration skills.
• High competency w/ Microsoft Office Products: Word, Office, Excel, Powerpoint
• Accomplished multi-tasker able to prioritize large volume of activity
• Demonstrated technical know-how, analytical skills, and mechanical aptitude
