Security Guard - CR - Tatitlek Federal Services, Inc.
Age requirement: 21+ years of age
The Security Guard enforces regulations and procedures designed to prevent breaches of security. Exercises judgment and uses discretion in responding to incidents and emergencies, determining whether to intervene directly, ask for assistance as time permits, keep situations under control or surveillance, or to report incident or situation to the appropriate authority for handling. Duties require specialized training in methods and techniques of protecting controlled areas. Performs guard duties at the MCAAP. Required to demonstrate proficiency with firearms and other special weapons, and to meet rigorous physical fitness standards.

Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics of this job are consistent with those an employee encounters while performing the essential Security Guard duties and responsibilities. The employee must be able to work in harsh, wet, cold, and hot weather. Area is subject to blowing dust and sand with temperatures ranging from 30 degrees F in the winter to 125(+) degrees F in the summer.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this position are consistent with those an employee encounters while performing the essential duties and responsibilities of this position. While performing the duties and responsibilities of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear, and see. The employee must be able to stand on their feet continuously for 8 to 10 hours per day. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and bend. The employee must occasionally lift and /or move up to 25 pounds without assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
