Position Overview:
As a Lunch Coordinator at Yay, you will play a crucial role in delivering lunches to schools. You will represent the Yay brand and create a positive experience for the school community through your friendly and professional demeanor. The hours for this position typically range from 10-15 hrs/wk.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Pick up goods from the warehouse or vendor and follow the hotsheet (route) for delivery. Clean and sanitize work areas, such as sinks and storage areas, to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Communicate effectively with school staff, local vendor partners and Yay team members to coordinate lunchtime operations and address any concerns or issues
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure meals are safe and properly handled
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while representing Yay as a Lunch Coordinator, promoting the company's values and mission.
- Assisting with distribution of lunches (when applicable).
- Utilizing various applications including our Yay branded hotsheets, Voxer, and Bamboo HR.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, food service, or related fields is preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for meal deliveries
- Listed as an insured party for used vehicle
- Clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work well with school staff, students, and other team members.
- Flexibility to work morning and afternoon hours, averaging between two to four hours per day, depending on the school's schedule
- Ability to pass a background check

Compensation:
- $18.00 per hour
- Data stipend
- Mileage reimbursement
