POSITION: Fund Accountant, Digital Assets (Crypto)

LOCATION: Boca Raton, Florida (Hybrid)

BUSINESS HOURS: 9 AM - 6 PM ET

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

THIS POSITION REQUIRES SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE OF:

• Financial markets including an intermediate understanding of digital assets

• The fund accounting lifecycle and the various operational functions required to strike a net asset value:

PORTFOLIO ACCOUNTING:

• creation and maintenance of investment master

• capture of various crypto transactions: staking, yield farming, centralized/decentralized exchanges, wallet activity, cash, positions and P&L reconciliation

• valuation of investments

FUND/INVESTOR ACCOUNTING:

• booking of fund operating expenses

• reconciliation of operational bank accounts

• calculation of investor-level fees including management and performance fees

• knowledge of investor performance calculations including highwater marks, hurdle rates, and crystallization of incentive fees

• preparation of financial statements and portfolio schedules

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact both internally and externally in a professional manner with clients and colleagues

• Some experience in hedge fund administration and/or public accounting (audit or tax experience in the hedge fund space) preferred but not required

• CPA, CFA or MBA preferred but not required
