    Position Summary:

    Therapist provides psychotherapeutic treatment, rehabilitation, and care coordination in both English and Spanish. Services are provided on-site or in the field as needed for children up to age 21 and their families. This role supports the client and their family in meeting their mental health goals.

    Position Details:

    Therapy is focused on symptom reduction to improve functional impairments and heal mental health issues such as post-traumatic stress disorder, problems in the parent-child relationship, or other social-emotional challenges with the ultimate goal of restoring children and families to a healthy level of functioning.

    Requirements:

    • Must be either registered or licensed with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Social Worker (ASW), Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) -OR- eligible to be registered with the CA Board of Psychology as a Psychological Associate or Registered Psychologist.Trilingual in English, Spanish and Mixtec required
    • Master’s or Doctorate degree required. 2+ years clinical experience working with children and families preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Strong computer and technology skills, including Microsoft Office and other web-based systems, Zoom, etc. Proven skills in problem-solving, resourcefulness and decision-making with good judgment
