Active Life & Sports Physical Therapy is seeking a skilled Billing & Revenue Cycle Specialist to take ownership of our insurance billing, collections, accounts receivable, and revenue optimization processes. We’re a dynamic, mission-driven company with 3 clinic locations and a growing virtual coaching program, and we need someone who can keep our revenue cycle running smoothly and efficiently.

What You’ll Do:

Manage and process insurance claims (commercial, Medicare, workers’ compensation, MVA, etc.)

Track and resolve denials and unpaid claims

Oversee other billing team members

Monitor and maintain clean A/R reports and follow up on collections

Post payments and reconcile EOBs and patient accounts

Work closely with our front desk, clinical, and leadership teams

Provide insight and strategies to improve cash flow and reduce billing errors

Who You Are:

Experienced in billing and collections, ideally in physical therapy or outpatient healthcare

Knowledgeable in payer rules, CPT codes, and documentation requirements

Tech-savvy and organized, with solid understanding of EMRs and billing software

A strong communicator who loves problem-solving and digging into the details
