Sunshine Physical Therapy Clinic is seeking a full-time Physical and Occupational Therapy Technician for our Therapy program. Sunshine Physical Therapy Clinic is the only non-profit therapy clinic in Indian River County, FL. We offer Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapies for both adults and children in an interdisciplinary setting prioritizing the needs of the individual over the bottom line. Established in 1953, Sunshine Physical Therapy Clinic has maintained a reputation of excellence for over 70 years, meeting the needs of individuals seeking therapy services regardless of their ability to pay. We accept most major medical insurances, Medicare, and Medicaid.

Job Responsibilities:

· Direct patient care under the supervision and direction of Licensed Physical and Occupational Therapists and Licensed Assistants;

· Maintaining a clean clinic, including equipment cleaning and maintenance;

· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Minimum education: High School diploma or equivalent;

· Excellent interpersonal communication skills;

· Team-centric working style; positive attitude and strong work ethic;

· Comfort working with teens and adults, including those with special needs;

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; assistance with lifting and transferring patients;

· Preference will be given to those who have a strong desire to work in the exercise physiology or physical/occupational therapy field.
