    We’re a small family-owned business and we operate like one. You’re way more than a number to us, we’re flexible, understanding and we hold ourselves to high standards. This role is critical to the success of our operation. Be part of the team that designs and analyzes new products, manufacturing capabilities, tooling needs, and troubleshoots quality control challenges.

    Some of the essential duties include:

    • Assemble and disassemble existing and new production tooling.
    • Ability to perform drilling and tapping operations and the ability to install Heli-Coil thread repair hardware
    • Coordinate work duties with production scheduling and tool room scheduling.
    • Coordinate the physical storage of tooling and maintain an electronic inventory of all tooling components.
    • Inspect tooling for defects and damage and perform preventative maintenance, cleaning, die sharpening, and minor repairs as needed.
    • Maintain an inventory of commonly used hardware items.
    • Drill micro diameter vacuum holes in thermoform tooling.
    • Polish aluminum mold tooling to industry standards.
    • Using proper forms, submit to the tooling department requests for major repairs or replacements of tooling components.

    What it takes to succeed:

    You will need Toolroom or Tooling experience. We just want someone who knows their way around a toolroom, has a strong work ethic and can work with minimal supervision.
