    Crowley is actively hiring Towing Officers ATBs in our East & West Coast fleets. The current openings are with Seafarers' International Union (SIU) and Inland Boatmans' Union (IBU). Union membership is required upon acceptance of a permanent role within the ATB fleets.

    Required Skills

    Minimum Qualifications and Credentials

    • MMC-
      • Basic Training
      • VPDSD
      • Required STCW Endorsements and Training
      • Mate 1600 Gross Tons upon Oceans License or higher
      • Mate of Towing Vessels upon Oceans or higher (preferred)
      • OICNW (Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch) over 500GT
      • Able Seafarer Deck
      • GMDSS
      • Lifeboatman endorsement
    • STCW Medical Certificate – we require the STCW Expiration Date to be valid
    • TWIC badge- Not to expire within three months
    • Valid Passport – Not to expire within six months

    **Preferred Qualifications & Skills **

    • PIC – Tankerman Person in Charge (preferred)
    • Tankerman Assistant (Barge) (required)

    Hitches

    • Non-Alaska based ATBs – 28/28

    Travel costs to and from your vessel and home of record are covered!
