Thompson First Group is seeking Flexographic Press Operators for permanent hire opportunities for a local client in Plymouth, MN.

Candidates with a background working with Flexographic Printing Presses are encouraged to apply. 

Essential Functions:

• Set-up & run high quality on gearless sleeve press at optimum speeds without supervision.
• Ability to tone colors of solvent ink.
• Assemble and adjust doctor blade chambers.
• Adjust press to maximize run speed.
• Load and unload print sleeves from press, storage rack and rolls of material from press.
• Check ink viscosity.
• Ability to clean ink pumps.
  
• Ability to troubleshoot machine for any malfunctions or irregularities and address quality issues in cooperation with Quality Control staff.
• Must be able to oversee and train press assistant and in completing responsibilities.
• Responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness to keep machine operable.
• Ability to maintain housekeeping for the press and workstation.
• Responsible for condition of machine and work area.
• Work safely always.
