*Full-time/ Contract through June 30, 2027
The Technical Project Manager, WCAG Compliance will manage the remediation of internet-based English language proficiency assessments to bring them into compliance with WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) requirements. The Technical Project Manager, WCAG Compliance will work with the Test Assembly Specialist, WCAG Compliance, other technical specialists at CAL, client representatives, and representatives of third-party vendors to identify solutions to bring existing QTI (Question and Test Interoperability) packages into WCAG compliance. The Technical Project Manager, WCAG Compliance will work together with CAL colleagues to establish timelines, project plans, and workload batches to ensure efficient progress towards remediation goals.
Once solutions are identified, the Technical Project Manager, WCAG Compliance will track the required remediation steps for each QTI package, including maintaining bug tracking software, documenting solutions, and conducting quality control reviews. The Technical Project Manager, WCAG Compliance will work with other members of the project team to determine how solutions for WCAG remediation can be implemented in new test item development to ensure consistency in the QTI code.
