    The Ticketing Coordinator ensures seamless integration between ticketing operations and the Walker’s program, leveraging Tessitura to optimize visitor engagement and support organizational goals. This includes coordinating efficient ticket setup in Tessitura, the Walker’s ticketing and customer relationship management system; supporting the Visitor and Gallery Experience Department on ticketing functions; and building customer lists for marketing communications. The Ticketing Coordinator will work closely with the Tessitura Administrator to ensure effective use of Tessitura in supporting the Walker’s strategic goals.


    WHAT YOU GET TO DO

    Training

    • Establish, document, and implement policies and standard operating procedures for ticketing in Tessitura.
    • Develop and implement a training program to onboard new users quickly and effectively.
    • Provide in-person training for the Visitor and Gallery Experience team, supporting adherence to procedures and policies.
    • Responsible for communicating with Tessitura users on ticketing-related changes and systems updates.

    Tessitura Ticketing

    • Project manage and set up ticketing for all programs and events in Tessitura.
    • Produce event setup documents and route them to the appropriate parties in Visitor Experience, Marketing, Programming, and Finance.
    • Collaborate with Marketing, Visitor Experience, and Programming to create discount offers in Tessitura and manage inventory.
    • Update and maintain information in Tessitura, including creating source codes and entering sales goals, genre tags, and keywords.
    • Oversee the on-sale date calendar, provide regular updates, and collaborate with Marketing, Visitor Experience, and Programming on ticketing roll-outs.
    • Implement ticketing strategies, including price changes and seat release schedules, as outlined by Marketing.
    • Collaborate with the Tessitura Administrator to support ongoing database management and monitoring for data integrity.
    • Work with the Tessitura Administrator to coordinate meetings with the internal Tessitura user group.
    • Respond promptly and courteously to Tessitura support requests from Visitor Experience staff.
    • Responsible for generating and maintaining accurate customer lists for marketing campaigns and customer service.

    WHAT WE NEED IN YOU

    • Minimum of 1 year of experience with Tessitura or any other CRM system, with a strong preference for Tessitura experience.
    • Ability to track multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong attention to detail, with prior experience working with data and documentation.
    • Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments that require quick thinking and adaptability.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface with various departments and management levels. Natural collaborator who enjoys working closely with others.\
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Position requires occasional weekend and evening hours to support special event ticketing.
    • Track record of superior attention to detail and managing multiple tasks and priorities to meet tight deadlines.
    • Ability to build strong, collaborative relationships across the organization.
    • Experience with and commitment to working with individuals and teams that exemplify diversity of identity, experience, and perspective.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

    JOB SPECIFICATIONS This position is considered full-time (35 hours per week), non-exempt. As a non-exempt position, it is eligible for overtime pay. The minimum compensation for this role is $26.37 hourly. The Walker offers a wide range of benefits for both part-time and full-time employees.
