WHAT EXACTLY WOULD I DO?
The Operations Manager will have overall responsibility for the store’s service, quality, cost savings, staffing, customer loyalty and overall customer satisfaction. THIS POSITION IS FOR A LOCAL LEADER WHO WILL TAKE OWNERSHIP AND ACCOUNTABILITY FOR ALL ASPECTS OF THIS STORE’S OPERATION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.
WHAT IT TAKES TO BE SUCCESSFUL?
We are seeking an UPBEAT, ENERGETIC AND EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONAL that embodies the Tide Cleaners brand. You must be great with customers (a people pleaser) as well as a detailed oriented and accountable leader. Must also be computer savvy and a strong problem solver.
You will need to confidently lead a dedicated crew of experienced production and customer service employees, while having the patience to train & coach new employees. WE WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH HANDS ON TIDE CLEANERS TRAINING AND ALL OF THE TOOLS YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Confidently introduce Tide Cleaners to new customers in an upbeat / exciting manner
· Build customer loyalty through personalized service (go the extra mile to delight them)
· Ensure quality and customer service standards are consistently met
· Resolve client issues and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
· Maintain a clean, organized store environment
· Together, we will need to define the hours depending on business needs.
· Oversee training, health, and safety for all employees
· Ensure sufficient staffing & ensure we have back-ups at every position
· The link between Production/Operations & Front of House/Customer Service. Overall Leadership of the Tide Dry Cleaners operations & customer team
· Leadership of the Tide Dry Cleaners team (day to day operations) – CSR, production, delivery (in the future)
· Oversee the training of all personnel, ensure they are trained on Tide Cleaners standards & documented in system
· Consistently looking for opportunities to train up the next leader (identify pockets of talent). Build the bench, look for ways to obsolete parts of your job, allowing you to move to the next big idea
· Diligent in looking for ways to improve (team, staffing, scheduling, process, service, technology)
· Fiscal Disciplined (i.e. always looking for ways to make more money for the company)
· Consistently & effectively communicate with Tide Dry Cleaners franchise support staff
· Build relationships w/ suppliers & vendors (locally & national equipment vendors)
· Bring forward ideas to grow (acquisition, partnership, technology, routes, etc)
· Build up maintenance/equipment knowledge. Example: Don’t need to do the work, but need to understand how things work & how to ID problems
Our process is completely non-toxic using Green Earth dry cleaning technology (and Tide/Downy products).
Ideal candidate must have:
Ability to think on your feet and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills (people and process)
Passion for people & customer service
Positive attitude and a strong team-oriented work ethic
Dry Cleaning experience is not required.
