About the Role:
As a Tier 1 IT Support Technician, you’ll be the first point of contact for our clients, assisting with technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. This role includes a mix of remote support and occasional onsite visits for clients in the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area.
What You’ll Do:
✅ Respond to and resolve Level 1 IT support tickets via phone, email, and remote tools ✅ Troubleshoot Windows & Mac workstations, printers, and basic network issues ✅ Assist with Microsoft 365 administration (password resets, user management, basic troubleshooting) ✅ Provide basic cybersecurity guidance and enforce security policies ✅ Help clients with software installation, updates, and general IT support needs ✅ Escalate complex issues to Tier 2/Tier 3 as needed ✅ Document issues and solutions in the ticketing system
What We’re Looking For:
🔹 1+ years of IT support experience (MSP experience is a plus!) 🔹 Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and basic networking 🔹 Experience with Active Directory, remote desktop tools, and troubleshooting common IT issues 🔹 Excellent customer service and communication skills 🔹 Ability to work independently and as part of a team 🔹 Located in the DMV area and available for occasional onsite visits
