We are looking for an experienced Home Care, Medicaid, Private Pay, or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) marketer to join our growing team of palliative care professionals! If you have a background in healthcare sales and know how to drive referrals , we want you. Prior hospice experience is a plus, but not required —we can teach hospice. What we need is someone with a strong understanding of healthcare referrals, a compassionate approach, and the hunger to succeed by building lasting relationships with providers, physicians, and healthcare organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leverage your existing experience in Home Care, Medicaid, Private Pay, or SNF marketing to drive referrals and expand Ascend's palliative care network.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, physicians, and hospitals in Somerset County, positioning Ascend as the premier choice for palliative care services.
• Educate and inspire community organizations, referral sources, and healthcare professionals about the power of palliative care and Ascend's unique approach.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities , ensuring a continuous pipeline of referrals and growth.
• Conduct outreach efforts, seminars, and presentations to enhance awareness of Ascend's services.
• Act as the primary liaison between referral sources and Ascend's care teams, ensuring seamless transitions for patients.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and referral patterns to refine sales strategies and maximize impact.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all patient referrals are handled with efficiency and a high standard of care.

Qualifications:

• Experience in healthcare sales, marketing, or business development , particularly in Home Care, Medicaid, Private Pay, or SNF.
• A strong understanding of how to generate and manage referrals within the healthcare space.
• A proven track record of success in sales —meeting and exceeding targets.
• Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to establish trust with referral sources.
• Self-motivated, driven, and able to manifest your own success.
• A compassionate and customer-focused mindset , truly wanting to help patients and families.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Willingness to travel within the designated service area.

Compensation:

• Competitive base salary: $85,000 - $95,000 per year (based on experience and book of business).
• On-target earnings (OTE) exceeding $100,000+ with commissions and performance incentives.
