    Tissue Services Specialist

To continue operating at our high standard, we’re seeking a Laboratory Technician who has a strong background in human anatomy and a willingness to learn about the cadaveric advantages to continued medical education and training. The ideal candidate will be an expert communicator who has a strong ability to coordinate and collaborate across a range of departments. Ultimately, the specialist laboratory technician should be driven by a desire to exceed client expectations and company standards.

    Objectives of this role

    · Execute administrative functions for the tissue services team. · Work in collaboration with intake and recovery processing teams to accomplish company objectives outlined by management.

    · Adhere to company standards for excellence and quality.

    Responsibilities

    · Serve as the main point of contact for Innoved sourcing outreach.

    · Serve as the main point of contact for Innoved clients regarding imaging needs.

    · Coordinate all imaging needs and appointments with vendors and internal departments.

    · Update and maintain Innoved database with accurate record keeping.

    · Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectively.

    · Troubleshoot issues and develop solutions to a wide range of obstacles.

    · Occasionally assist in medical imaging, taking fluoroscopy shots, or bringing specimens to imaging facilities.

    · Occasionally assist in the intake of cadaveric specimens.

    · Additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

    Required skills and qualifications

    · Strong grasp of Microsoft Office Suite. · Strong background in human anatomy.

    · Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

    · Ability to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines.

    · Overall friendly disposition with an enthusiasm to support the medical donation field.
