Responsibilities
- Performs full range of General Radiology procedures including but not limited to: Portables, fluoroscopy, operating room, trauma, contrast studies and DEXA bone densitometry in a digital/PACS environment.
- Responsible for operating a variety of x-ray equipment in both a hospital/trauma and outpatient setting.
- Confirming order with patient and making any corrections to exam. Entering exam in Meditech.
- Must obtain quality image including both technical and positional factors. Responsible for maintaining exposures to ionizing radiation as low as reasonably achievable.
- Confirming patient demographics and lead markers prior to processing and releasing images. Assuring all “Stat” procedures or special exam instructions are completed appropriately.
- Adapts to schedule changes including call shifts and call back for procedures/holidays.
- Follows policies and procedures.
- Participates in the Quality Improvement process
Requirements
- 1 year of recent acute car Rad Tech Experience (Must be within the last year or two).
- Graduate of ARRT Accredited Program and current ARRT registry required
- Current ARRT registry required, Florida Certification is required.
- Available Shifts:
- Days: 7am-3:30pm Monday - Friday
- Weekends Only Shift: Saturday, Sunday, Monday 7am-7:30pm
- Will consider 4/10 hour shifts
