Responsibilities: • Prepare closing statements after reviewing all closing documents to ensure all title commitments have been met, issue the title policy, and transfer the title to the new owner • Work effectively throughout the closing process with a variety of industry professionals, such as real estate agents, settlement agents, title insurance agents, law firms, escrow officers, closing agents, paralegals, and escrow companies • Verify there are no real estate title defects or title issues such as liens, wills, claims, deeds, mortgages, or fraud once the property search is complete • Ensure all legal documents at the county and federal level have been recorded and present the deed to the new owners • Facilitate title search and prepare title abstract and title opinion Qualifications: • Insurance Producer License and Notary are required - Closer license is a bonus • Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite • The ideal candidate will be process-driven, highly analytica,l and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills • A high school diploma is a requirement, but a college degree is preferred • 3-5 years of experience in title closing, title examiner, abstractor, or closing services is required Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000 yearly
