About the Role:

Join The Goddard School of McKinney as a Toddler Assistant Teacher, where your passion for early childhood education will shine! We are dedicated to nurturing young minds and creating a fun, safe, and stimulating environment for toddlers to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:

Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.

Engage toddlers in play-based learning to foster social and cognitive development.

Support a safe and nurturing classroom environment by maintaining cleanliness and organization.

Observe and document children's progress and behavior for developmental assessments.

Communicate effectively with parents about their child’s daily experiences and milestones.

Encourage positive interactions among children to promote teamwork and cooperation.

Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Help manage classroom supplies and resources to ensure a smooth operation.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; degree in early childhood education preferred.

Previous experience working with toddlers or in a childcare setting is a plus.

Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Passion for early childhood education and fostering a love of learning.

Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude are essential.

Background check clearance as required by state regulations.
