** Job Summary**
The position is responsible for overseeing the inventory management of maintenance, repair, and operational (MRO) items. This includes monitoring stock levels, ensuring timely replenishment, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining accurate records. The role involves implementing efficient inventory control practices to support operational needs and minimize downtime, while also evaluating the quality and availability of MRO items to ensure they meet company standards. Additionally, the position requires collaboration with various departments to forecast inventory needs and assist in budgeting for MRO purchases.

JOB PREREQUISITES:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a college degree is a plus.
Previous experience in a storeroom or warehouse environment.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate and detailed records.
Proficient computer skills and experience with inventory management software.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy items.
Experienced in Microsoft Office Software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
