    We are seeking a highly skilled Tool & Die Maker / Sheet Metal Model Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in precision metal stamping, fabrication, prototyping, and precision tooling. This role involves creating, modifying, and assembling sheet metal components, dies, and prototypes to support manufacturing and engineering development.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Tool & Die Making: Design, build, and maintain precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures for sheet metal stamping and fabrication.

    Sheet Metal Fabrication: Cut, form, and assemble sheet metal components using hand tools, press brakes, shears, and other metalworking equipment.

    Prototype Development: Work closely with engineers and designers to create prototype parts and assemblies for testing and validation.

    Machining & Finishing: Operate mills, lathes, grinders, and other shop equipment to machine and refine components.

    Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T specifications to ensure accurate fabrication, design, and build secondary tooling.

    Quality Control: Inspect finished products using precision measurement tools to ensure dimensional accuracy and functional performance.

    Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve design or manufacturing issues in collaboration with engineering and production teams.

    Material Knowledge: Work with various metals, including aluminum, stainless steel, and specialized alloys.

    Safety & Maintenance: Follow safety procedures and perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.

    Qualifications:

    Experience: 5+ years of experience in tool & die making, sheet metal stamping, fabrication, and prototype development.

    Education: Apprenticeship, trade school certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in machining and metalworking.

    Technical Skills: Proficiency in machining, welding, CAD/CAM software, blueprint reading, and GD&T.

    Attention to Detail: Strong precision and problem-solving skills.

    Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with engineers, machinists, and production staff.
